American Ogletree leads by five at International Series Qatar

Overnight leader Suradit Yongcharoenchai of Thailand slips to second place

American Andy Ogletree is in a pole position heading into the final day of the $2.5m International Series Qatar of the Asian Tour happening at the Doha Golf Club.

The American, chasing his second International Series title, shot a third round 66 for a 54 hole score of 208, eight under par, and a five shot lead in testing conditions and challenging conditions with the strong winds testing the skills of the golfers.

The 24 year-old Ogletree (US), a winner at the International Series – Egypt in November last year, also an Asian Tour, shot a round consisting of four birdies and an eagle on hole 10.

Ogletree is the only player in the field to break par in all three rounds to date with two 71’s prior to making the cut.

Overnight leader Suradit Yongcharoenchai of Thailand is in second place after having managed to card 74 to be on three under par 213.

Only five players are under par for three rounds of the 70 in the field to make the cut those include Chapchai Nirat                 -2 (214), Ben Leong -2 (214) and Hideto Tanihara  -1 (215)

Regional based players to make the cut and having played their third rounds include: Shiv Kapur (Ind) +8, Issa Abouelela (Am. Egypt) +10, Jeev Milkha Singh (Ind) +12 alongside Saudi Al Sharif (Pro, KSA).
