Overwhelming response for Qatar Senior Open at Doha Golf Club

  Podium finishers include 87-year-old Francesco Di Marco   Doha, Qatar: Hamad Mubarak Alafnan and Ranald Ranald McNeill walked away with the winners’ prizes in the men’s section at the Qatar Senior Open 2023 at the Doha Golf Club on Saturday while Uzma Mir and Nichapa Wichaidit claimed the honours in the ladies’ section. The two-day event, organized by Doha Golf Club and Qatar Golf Association, saw a record number of participation and the podium finishers walked away with valuable gifts and vouchers for their sterling efforts on the golf course. Hamad finished shot a gross total of 152 in the Men’s Gross Over 50 to walk away with the top prize. Kittisak Sangorn finished runners-up while Claes Byberg, Naser Yaqoob Saleh and Theo Scheepers finished third, fourth and fifth respectively.
