Doha - Katara:  The Katara International Arabian Horse Festival, in its third edition, celebrates the heritage and culture of the purebred Arabian horses and what is related to their vocabulary and artistic aesthetics, through 16 artistic workshops that are held on the Katara Corniche under the supervision of six plastic artists, as all the workshops continue between three thirty and nine thirty in the evening Until the end of the festival on the eleventh of February,

For her part, Hayya Al-Mohannadi, who supervises the activities of the artistic workshops at the Katara International Arabian Horse Festival, said that the door to participation in the artistic workshops is open to all age groups from the age of four and above, noting that the workshops vary between handicrafts related to horse decorations such as crowns and masks. In addition to cutting and pasting workshops and sewing puppets of horses, in addition to papier-mâché and the art of printing on cloth bags, and a workshop for nails and thread and making medals in addition to painting with watercolors and drawing on clay.

Al-Mohannadi added that the artistic workshops accompanying the festival aim to present various works of art on horse heritage and its aesthetics, in addition to allowing all amateurs and lovers of equestrian and its ancient heritage to develop their talents and spread their creativity in various types of arts, stressing that the activities accompanying the festival aim to promote plastic and applied arts that express The beauty and authenticity of horses and tells about its history and nobility, appreciating the valuable opportunities that these events, activities and artistic workshops provide to young talents of different groups and ages by allocating special places and involving them in these activities and events to practice their hobbies in an enjoyable family atmosphere.

The audience, especially parents, expressed their happiness with the participation of their children in such artistic and creative workshops, appreciating Katara's efforts with every event and festival it organizes in providing activities directed to children, which makes them approach the content and idea of the festival, and at the same time they spend happy times with special activities.

The Katara International Arabian Horse Festival, in its third edition, continues its various activities and events on Katara Beach until February 11.
