Qatar's Bader Al Marri Wins Gold Medal at World Horseback Archery Championship

  Qatari rider Badr Mubarak Al Marri won the gold medal in the singles competition at the horseback archery World Championships qualifiers. The event concluded Friday at the Rossfield Equestrian Club in Pretoria, South Africa.

Al Marri scored 38 points in the individual pole throwing competition through 4 rounds. 34 riders from different countries participated in the championship in three competitions.

Coach Fuad Al Mudahka expressed his happiness at the good level presented by the Qatar riders in the tournament which saw the participation of Abdulaziz Al Qahtani, Abdulrahman Al Ishaq and Hayel Al Anzi within the horseback throwing team.
