Al Shaqab will organize and host the tenth edition of Commercial Bank CHI AL SHAQAB Presented by Longines from 23-25 February 2023.

The premier equestrian competition, which will be held at the spectacular Longines Arena at Al Shaqab, welcomes top-ranking local and international equestrian stars to compete in the Olympic disciplines of showjumping, dressage, and para-dressage – each rider and horse developing that special bond which enables them to achieve true excellence.

Created in 2013, Commercial Bank CHI AL SHAQAB Presented by Longines is one of only five CHI competitions worldwide, and the first and only equestrian event of its kind in the Middle East and Asia regions. It has evolved to become one of the highlights on the world’s equestrian calendar.

By organizing and hosting the three-day event, Al Shaqab supports the Qatar National Vision 2030, which aims to promote Qatar as a world-class sports destination, while paying tribute to the country’s rich equestrian heritage.

Commercial Bank CHI AL SHAQAB Presented by Longines 2023 is testament to Al Shaqab’s standing as a center of global equestrian excellence and a premier international competition venue, while the festival activities during the event will help provide a memorable experience for one and all.
