Gulf Cup: Qatar to Face Iraq in Semi-final after 1-1 Draw with UAE


 Basra, January 13 : Qatar officially booked a place in the semi-final of the Arabian Gulf Cup championship (Khaleeji 25) after a 1-1 draw with the UAE in their match today at Al Mina Stadium in the Iraqi city of Basra, at the end of the third round of the group stage within Group B fixtures.

The Qatari team raised their points to four to finish second behind Bahraini team with 7 points, while the Kuwaiti team, the winner the title 10 times, finished third with four points, and the UAE team came in fourth with one point.

The Qatari team will face their Iraqi counterpart in the semi-final on Monday.
