Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al-Thani Rifle Day Begins Tomorrow

 The Qatar Racing and Equestrian Club (QREC) will organize the 31st race meeting in the 2022-23 season, HE President of Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al-Thani Rifle Day, at the Al Rayyan Racecourse on Saturday. The race will be held with the participation of the best horses, along with financial prizes amounting to $550,000 and the participation of 139 horses.

The QREC allocated high cash prizes, including $100,000 for the eighth, ninth and tenth rounds, $40,000 from the third round until seventh round, and $25,000 for the first and second round.
The 10th round will be dedicated for HE Sheikh Joaan Bin Hamad Al Thani Rifle, Thoroughbreds (age 4+) at a distance of 2200m, while the 9th round will be assigned for HE Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al-Thani Trophy, (Gr3 PA) Purebred Arabians (age 4+) at a distance of 2200m.

Other rounds include HE Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al-Thani Trophy, Purebred Arabians (age 4+) distance 1750m; HE Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al-Thani Trophy, Thoroughbreds (age 4+) distance 1750m; HE Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al-Thani Trophy, Thoroughbred Open Race (age 4+) distance 1400m; and HE Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al-Thani Trophy, Thoroughbreds (age 3) distance 1500m; and HE Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al-Thani Trophy, Thoroughbred Sprint (age 3+) distance 1200m.
